The catapult is a stationary, ranged siege weapon that can fling Explosive Barrels that will explode on contact and damage structures and units.

The catapult has a minimal and a maximal range, so it must be positioned accordingly.

Building

The catapult must be built on flat terrain. It can be built on the ground, on bricks or on planks. The Catapult requires 24 Planks, 6 Cogs and 2 Bricks to be built.

Loading the catapult

The Catapult will be automatically loaded when your Workers have time. To load a catapult manually, pick up an Explosive Barrel with a Bricktron, by selecting the Bricktron then right-clicking the stockpile with barrels in it, or by holding right-click on the stockpile and selecting the "Take From" option in the radial menu.

Once the Bricktron is holding the barrel, right-click the catapult to load the barrel in it, or hold right-click on the catapult and select the "Load with Ammo" option from the radial menu.

Aiming and firing the catapult

Once a catapult is loaded, select it and right-click somewhere to target it. The catapult will slowly rotate to align with the target. You can also hold right-click and select the "Set Target" option in the pie menu.

Hold right-click and select "Fire Once" to fire or select "Fire at Will" to fire until you run out of Explosive Barrels or you stop it by holding right-click and selecting "Hold Fire".

Strategies

You can assign a Bricktron to the Catapult whose only task is to reload the Catapult.
