Bricks can be obtained by placing 80 stones on a stockpile.

Various stone blueprints will make use of bricks:

Brick

This is a regular, 2x1 brick.

Half Brick

This a 1x1 stone brick. Useful for closing gaps when using the strongly recommended offset building technique. Note that half bricks still require one entire brick to build.
