The chopping block is a key element of crafting! You need to build a chopping block to be able to make [[Plank]] out of [[Log]] that will help you craft anything from [[Stockpile]], [[Weapon Rack]] to [[Archer]] kits.

The chopping block must be built on flat surfaces. It can be built on the ground, on bricks or on planks.
