A brace can be used on a Wooden Column or a Log to create longer Beams.

Use

Using a brace enables a beam to span up to 4 bricks instead of 2.

When joining two columns, the use of braces on both sides allows the joining beam to span up to 9 bricks.

Like beams, braces can also be used in Brick Plugs.
